History and Culture

First on our list and very dear to the heart of every Nigerian is the Kalakuta Museum. The late Fela Kuti’s residence. The locally made palm wine isn’t the only reason we love this place. There’s also the rich culture that takes you back to a different era in Nigerian political history. Visit this place to experience the life of Fela Anikulapo Kuti in his prime.

Number two is the Badagry Black Heritage Museum. A little nostalgia comes with this tourist spot as it holds a lot of memories of darker times in Nigerian history. But overall, it’s still a wonderful place to visit if you’re ever in the area. Definitely worth its salt.

Open Air R n R

For rest and relaxation, we’ll first go to the moist beach in Lekki area, beautifully designed and one of the cleanest and calmest beaches in Lagos state. Moist beach Lekki is a relaxation spot that would soothe fun seekers and the romantic couple alike. The food and drinks there are mouthwatering and the overall scenery is one for the books.

Next up, Atican beach is a private prestigious beach in Lekki Lagos. The perfect spot for private parties and out of the way quiet relaxation. The beach boasts restaurant with delicious seafood and drinks to wash it own smoothly. This is one beach you won’t be in a hurry to leave.

For indoor fun and engaging games, there are a few recommendations. The first will have to be PlayZone at the Ikeja City Mall. While you might have to spend a pretty penny, the amount of fun you’ll have choosing from an endless number of indoor games will be well worth it. From arcade games to chess, scrabble, bowling and so much more, so don’t sweat the bank yet.

Another spot you absolutely have to visit for indoor games will be the Silverbird Galleria. This place boasts a variety of indoor games for kids and adults alike. There’s really no age limit to how much much can be had at the Silverbird Galleria. So if you’re looking for family fun, fun with friends and just a place to unwind, this is the place to be.

Outdoor Activities

The two most popular spots for outdoor activities are GET Arena and Hi-Impact Planet. And they are for the thrill seekers looking to get some physical action and a lot of adrenaline pumping through their veins.

GET Arena has the best go-karts in Lagos and a race track that makes you itch to get down and dirty with all the activities. It’s a fun experience for young adults but also has safe fun activities and go-kart activities for kids to enjoy as well.
